Try ShortPoint nowShortPoint SPFx will enable SharePoint 2019 On-Premise and SharePoint Subscription Edition (SE) customers to use ShortPoint on Modern and Classic SharePoint Sites.
ShortPoint SPFx is a JavaScript web part powered by the new SharePoint Framework that will be hosted entirely on your tenant. ShortPoint SPFx needs to be uploaded into your tenant app catalog or site collection app catalog to install it to any site in your tenant.
Before We Begin!
- You want to install ShortPoint SPFx on a SharePoint 2019 Server or SharePoint SE.
- Download the Latest version of ShortPoint SPFx.
Required Permissions:
- To set up the App Catalog, you need to be a member of the Farm Administrators.
- You need to be a Site Collection Administrator for the Web Application that you are deploying ShortPoint tp.
ShortPoint SPFx Installation on SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint SE
NOTEIf you are deploying ShortPoint to multiple web applications, you need to repeat the following steps for each web application as you cannot share a single app catalog across multiple web applications.
To install ShortPoint SPFx for the first time, you need to complete the following steps:
- Prerequisite 1: Set up App Catalog (Setup for each Web Application where you want to use ShortPoint)
- Prerequisite 2: Enable Scripting Capabilities (required if you want to use ShortPoint on classic sites and pages)
- Prerequisite 3: Enable IIS 6 Metabase Compatibility
Then start with installation:
- Installation Step 1: Upload ShortPoint SPFx to Farm App Catalog
- Installation Step 2: Add ShortPoint SPFx to SharePoint Site (1 - 5 minutes)
- Installation Step 3: Run ShortPoint Installation from Dashboard (1 minute)
