This article will show you the two ways to open the ShortPoint Theme Builder. Follow the option that you want to use.

Before we begin
- Make sure you have the latest version of ShortPoint installed for your SharePoint environment.
- Make sure that you are a ShortPoint Designer with an active license.
Short Interactive Tutorial
Click Get Started to start the interactive tutorial:
NOTEYou must have the ShortPoint Shortcuts enabled to use the ShortPoint icon. You can enable it in Theme Builder > Header > ShortPoint Shortcuts. When activated, the shortcut options will be only shown to ShortPoint Designers.
Step-by-step Tutorial
Follow the option that suits your needs:
OPTION 1: Using the ShortPoint Icon
NOTETo use this option, make sure you have the ShortPoint Shortcuts enabled. You can enable it in Theme Builder > Header > ShortPoint Shortcuts. When activated, the shortcut options will be only shown to ShortPoint Designers.
STEP 1: Click the ShortPoint Icon
- Go to the SharePoint page you want to use and click the ShortPoint icon:
STEP 2: Select Theme Builder
- Click Theme Builder from the drop-down:
That’s it! You have successfully launched Theme Builder.
OPTION 2: Using Site Contents
STEP 1: Go to Site Contents
- Click the cogwheel icon in the upper right corner of the screen:
- Select Site Contents.
STEP 2: Open the ShortPoint Dashboard
- On the Site Contents page, click ShortPoint Dashboard.
STEP 3: Open ShortPoint Theme Builder
- Click Theme Builder.
- Choose between Classic or Modern, depending on your SharePoint experience. Since we have the Modern experience, we will choose Modern:
- Click Customize my site.
Congratulations! You can now start creating your own intranet theme that reflects the unique culture of your company.
